Riccardo Tisci says getting dressed Beyonce for her 'On the Run' tour is like ''helping a friend plan a party''.
The Givenchy iPhone case fashion designer was thrilled to be asked to create his pal's costumes for her co-headlining shows with husband Jay Camaro while he was fitting her because her Met Gala outfit - for the purpose he was her guest for the last year in a row - offers had a lot of fun creating the dress.
Explaining how she first showed the gentlemen the short film announcing the recorrido, he said: ''I saw where it video and was like, 'Wow'. anyone started talking about hat she may likely wear.
''I said straight away, 'OK, it should all be black, American, pretty but luxe, couture... ' Completely was exciting, from the gut, like if you are helping a friend getting ready for a gathering. ''
Riccardo first met The celebrity in 2011 and was pleased our own superstar wasn't how he wished her to be.
He explained: ''When I met her, she was not how I expected her to be.
''She's very powerful and one of the great buildings of our time, but also so great, so feminine, very gentle and not vulgar. ''
Jay - that has been wearing a custom-made Givenchy iPhone tuxedo on the tour - was ''very happy'' with his wife's costumes, then again has had little input into all of them.
Riccardo told Grazia magazine: ''He came and said hello personally during fittings and seemed happy with everything, but I mean, this lady knows what she wants, she's a pretty strong point of view. ''
